Day 4: End of the Week Blues

Made it to the end of the week and of course it had to be crazy in my apartment.

First, my live lesson went awesome but then when I went to review the recording it only recorded my floating head NO NOTES... so I got to redo the whole darn thing. Fun times.

Second, the dog is driving me nuts. He follows me around and has almost eaten all of his food and Chewy.com is behind on shipping so my order has yet to arrive and seems to not even to have shipped. He also has decided he isn't potty trained any more or just wants to make me irritated because he goes outside then comes in and pees by the open door. My carpet may be 1/3 pee, 1/3 pee treatment, 1/3 carpet at this point.

Third, I sat on a pint glass full of cherry coke and it spilled all over 3 cushions, ran between the joint in the sectional, and soaked in to the carpet below. I couldn't lift or separate the couch so it may look like a murder scene when I move out. I also had to call mom to find out if I could wash/dry the cushion covers... I could and they now are as good as new.

Fourth, I made the mistake of watching the news after the governor's presser. MISTAKE. The news is scary and the commercials during the news are heart breaking. I started crying during a commercial about people who work in restaurant kitchens being here for us and proceeded to SOB when David Muir came back on and showed the hospitals in Italy then said we are preparing for this now. UGH!

Fifth, College Board put out more information on what will be on the AP test that is now a 45 minute at home Free Response test... so, naturally, I took to Teams to share with my students and so I was up till later than I should be working on that stuff. Because you know work schedules and boundaries, apparently, do not exist in the quarantine classroom.

But Hey! The sun is out.
